Outside Broadcasts – a provocative word?
We offer an alternative!
Just as if sitting in the studio, presenters or technicians have remote access to all required services from the outside broadcast location. Like from the familiar studio, news is broadcasted, telephone games take place, and the radio automation system is operated as usual. Pre-listening (PFL) is possible as well as that sports broadcast with dozens of inputs from multiple different arenas. Even the weather is broadcasted live with the news while the correspondents are briefed at the same time. With everything running just as it does “at home” in the studio, no presenter needs any special training to “drive” the show.
The VRS (Virtually Controllable Studio) can be switched from on-air to off-air operations from the station at the push of a button entirely without any additional support. The editor’s office conveniently adds to the show from the broadcast center. The outside studio, in turn, can at any time remote-control the microphones of newscasters or guests in the station. Comfortable talkback is also guaranteed, as well as the ability to change the music selection in the broadcast schedule at any time, including during show. During all this, the broadcast playback unit remains well cooled and protected in the equipment room at home and is only accessed remotely, making database replications unnecessary. Lastly, a local programme to deal with the sound reinforcement at the OB-Van can be created easily.
