Technical Details

Up to today, control commands have most commonly been transmitted via GPIO (General Purpose Input/Output). However, many functions cannot be remote-controlled by it, as they are either not available, or the amount of information is higher than the number of connections – combined with guaranteed extra costs from the installation and start-up of GPIO, the deficiencies of this method are clear.

SLG Broadcast AG’s SysToolbox eliminates these problems by introducing a modular software solution. It serves as the link between individual devices and allows for centralized control and evaluation.

Mixing consoles, software interfaces (i.e. Lawo VisTool, VSM) or another central control panel, such as an iPhone, can be used as HI (Human Interface).

The completely modular design of the system makes the realization of customer specific solutions possible within a minimal time frame – the figurative tailored suit for the studio workflow.

The software is compatible with Windows, Linux, or Mac.
